Digging into the power of ChatGPT to analyze PMF Survey data

Results Nubank has achieved with help of PMF Survey

Of all the companies that have benefited from my PMF Survey, none have likely benefited more than Nubank. On his podcast, Lenny Rachitsky described Nubank as ”bigger than Coinbase, Robinhood, Affirm, SoFi, and Lemonade combined. 80% to 90% of Nubank's growth is through word of mouth.” According to their CPO, Jag Duggal, the way Nubank uses my survey is a big part of what drives this word of mouth. Nubank is at the top of my mind because I’m headed to Brazil this weekend (and that’s where Nubank is based). During one of my earlier visits this year, after speaking with their team, I had the chance to dive into the ball pit in their lobby (pic below). Amazing that a team can be so successful and so fun!

Speaking of my PMF Survey, the main point of this post is to share a fun exercise I just did exploring some dummy PMF Survey data with ChatGPT. It’s a sequence of 10 prompts that led to some great recommendations for improving positioning, the product development roadmap, and more. Hopefully, this will give you some ideas on how I analyze my PMF Surveys to generate actionable insights critical for accelerating growth. I also included a link to the CSV at the end if you want to try some other prompts on it as well.
